The main mask body is made of hypoallergenic food-grade silicone rubber. Some parts like the filter housing and wing ornaments are made of hard plastic. The filter housing contains the replaceable N95 filter sheets.
Buying single-use, disposable face masks can be harmful to the environment if disposed of improperly and buying them for the long-term can be costly. Hence, AIRUFLO helps to improve the sustainability of the environment because it is reusable and long-lasting if consumers follow the proper usage conditions such as avoiding exposure to high temperatures.
Most of the components are washable, including the body, wing ornaments, filter housings, valves, straps, adjusters and clips. However, the filter sheets are not washable and are recommended for single-use with up to 8 hours of wear. The N95 filters can be extended by up to 14 days depending on frequency of use and in low-dust environment only.
AIRUFLO is suitable for standard adult face sizes. The ergonomic design, along with the soft material allows the mask to conform to the facial contour. AIRUFLO comes with an adjustable strap system that provides a better fit for all head sizes, making it comfortable for long-term daily wear.
AIRUFLO is made from biocompatible materials like food-grade silicone that has been approved by the FDA. The product is hypoallergenic, contains no harmful substances that can cause adverse effects when in contact with the skin and can be washed with soap and water to be reused safely.
AIRUFLO’s adjustable strap systems provides users with flexibility while conducting daily activities. Hang the mask face-forward or from the side when it needs to be removed. AIRUFLO can also be easily folded for storage.

AIRUFLO masks have been SGS certified as of 23 April 2021 and are recognised as a Medical Grade Face Mask **. They have been tested for BFE (bacterial filtration efficiency) ≥99.7%, PFE (particle filtration efficiency) ≥98.8% and VFE (viral filtration effeciency) ≥98.8%.
AIRUFLO’s ergonomic design rests gently on users’ face, preventing leakage and offers better protection than loose-fitting surgical or fabric masks. For the most part, AIRUFLO is made for easy cleaning and quick drying (except for the straps). AIRUFLO also does not suffer from moisture retention, mould growth and contaminants.
AIRUFLO is designed modularly which allows components of the mask to be replaced and/or detached for cleaning purposes.
The wing ornaments can be detached and fitted with any compatible straps in the market. The filter housing can be detached easily to change the pre-cut N95 filter sheets.
AIRUFLO is designed to be slim, compact and transparent with minimal visual occlusion. The transparent body allows for better communication, especially for lip reading and gauging of facial expressions.
Most importantly, the design prevents contact between the mask and users’ mouth during wear.
